Further consolidating their position as the innovative waste management solution provider, B&M Waste is enjoying huge success with the highly-esteemed Bromsgrove School in Worcestershire.
Looking to implement a forward-thinking and future-proof waste strategy, the ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted-rated school worked closely with B&M Waste, impressed with their Carbon Neutral credentials and recycling-led values.
B&M Waste rolled out innovative new equipment throughout the school, incorporating telemetry technology in the state-of-the-art portable compactor. This alerts staff of it being emptied – the result of which is a waste strategy that’s both highly efficient and streamlined.
The results already have been significant. Sean Sudworth, Area Sales Manager for B&M Waste noted;
“As one of the most prestigious schools in the country, we’re delighted to support Bromsgrove School in developing a waste strategy that’s just as impressive as their academic credentials. We have already reduced the volume of food waste by a staggering 80% and, crucially, 100% of the school’s waste is now diverted from landfill. The staff have been fantastic and completely on board since Day One, which enabled us to offer real value within our 2 day on-site training”.
James Farrell, Estates Manager for Bromsgrove School stated; “We couldn’t be happier with B&M Waste. Account management is impeccable and they go above and beyond in every area of our partnership. They’re forthcoming in terms of identifying ways in which to further reduce costs – though they’ve already helped us in significantly doing so – and they’re never more than a phone call away. The training was fantastic – both engaging and massively helpful – and the results of which speak for themselves; reduced costs, reduced waste and a significant improvement in our recycling strategy.”
