B&M Waste Services’ nominated charity, Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF), held a gin tasting based event this month to raise awareness of the charity and fundraise, whilst encouraging Leeds businesses to network.
B&M Waste were proud sponsors of the event held at Lamberts Yard in Leeds, where Whittaker’s Gin provided the gin for tasting. Tony Whittaker spoke about the different gins, how it is made and the different flavours being sampled.
Paul Hoddy, Area Sales Manager for B&M Waste Services commented “We are so proud to support such a deserving charity and what a great way to bring other Leeds businesses together so they too could learn more about the fabulous work they do, whilst sampling the wonderful Whittaker’s Gin.”
Director of B&M Waste, Neil Curtis said “Children’s Heart Surgery Fund provides an invaluable assistance to very poorly children who are undergoing major surgery. The support for both children and their families is incredibly valuable and we are truly proud to support them.”
Sharon Coyle, CEO of CHSF, said “It’s great to have the support of such an ethical company, they really have gone all out to assist us in the work that we do, including the recent promotion of the charity free of charge on their Leeds vehicle!”
