Sefton Palm House was the venue for the glittering 2019 City of Liverpool Business Awards, where B&M Waste Services were crowned winners of the Environmental & Sustainability Award 2019.
The awards, organised by Downtown in Business, saw over 200 attend on the evening, celebrating the best of Liverpool business.
Carbon Neutral since 2011, coupled with a constant aim for 100% diversion from landfill, B&M Waste offer clients a peace a mind that their waste is being disposed of in a sustainable and environmentally-friendly way.
B&M Waste have also recently launched a range of new services, including ‘Simple Swaps’ and paper cups recycling. Through these new services, B&M offer customers a waste-minimisation plan, new ways to sustainably dispose of their paper cups and a forward-thinking approach to waste management.
Sustainability remains at the forefront of everything that B&M Waste do. As a company, B&M believe in setting an example with their own environmental performance, offsetting any carbon footprint and monitoring carbon emissions avoided by diverting waste from landfill. All B&M vehicles are fitted with Euro6 engines; this ensures that carbon emissions through the fleet are kept to a minimum.
Alongside B&M Waste Services being Carbon Neutral, their sister company B&M Secure Shredding achieved Carbon Neutral Status last year – the first of its kind to receive this status.
Working across the Liverpool City region with businesses of various sizes and industries, ranging from education and retail, to property management, manufacturing and healthcare establishments, B&M are available to support businesses through their waste journey and help them on their way to a more sustainable waste strategy.
